I have been thinking about a lot that I want to achieve this year. Besides the continuous improvement of my health, I have been looking/interested in other things about what I feel, want, desire and need for my life. I feel I have gotten off the path of what I want and feel for myself. There is going to be a lot of changes that I want to try to achieve.
I ordered a few books that I am going to be reading that I think (and hope) will help me in finding out the truth behind why I do some of the things that I do. It can be very frustrating to want to change, do all the things you think you are doing right in order to change, only to slack off and get lazy and make up excuses and lie to yourself about why there is no reason to be changing. Grrrr! Hopefully, these books I have ordered will help me ask myself some tough questions and find the truth in me that I know is there.
A single New Year’s resolution may be the silver bullet that changes your life forever: Resolve to find your personal truth. ~Dr. Keith Ablow
This journey toward one’s own truth won’t be easy, but it is the most important journey you can take in your life. Because being absent from your own existence short circuits all good intentions. You can’t resolve to do anything, and mean it, if you are not in possession of your self. ~Dr. Keith Ablow
Have you found your personal truth or are you still on your path too?
