Christmas is tomorrow.  It has been an interesting year I can say that.

Tomorrow I will be making Beef Stew and homemade biscuits.  That is our dinner this year.  Not too fussy and easy to do.  Plan on watching White Christmas with Bing Crosby. One of my absolute favorite movies of all time it is.  Takes you bak to what seems like a simpler time.  After White Christmas, The Lord of the Rings trilogy.  Got to watch that! Haha!

I went over to my Daddy’s for our family Christmas today.  Very simple and nice.  I go get my niece tomorrow and take her to see my Daddy and step-mom for an hour or so and then it is back here to the house.  She is going to be with me for a couple of days.  I love to get to spend time with her.  She is growing up so fast.

Going to be a simple, but nice relaxing Christmas.  Not major presents.  Got my best gal friend and beautiful antique Chinese vase with Panda’s all over it.  She is going to cry.  She better. It was very expensive and I knew that it would be great for her Panda collection.  Something actually worth hanging on too. Haha!

I got T-mama some ink pens and a new file box to keep in her car.  She never wants anything major.  Just something she uses.  She uses these things a lot so, perfect gifts.  Besides, I am always cooking for her and baking something for her to take to her work.  She loves it.

My best friend I did not get anything for.  He does not celebrate Christmas.  He believes if you are going to give someone something, then just give it to them no matter what time of year it is.  Holidays he kind of shuns in general.  It’s OK. I still love him dearly and respect his beliefs and choices.  At least he is coming over tomorrow for the Doctor Who Christmas Special.

I better get to bed.  Need to wake up a little early for what few presents I am giving and what I am supposed to get.  Well, not supposed, it’s what they chose to give me.  I will be happy either way.  I still love my friends even if I got nothing.  Not to be too cliche’, but they are the best gifts I could have in my life.  22 year friendships are hard to find.
